Frederick McKenna

Frederick McKenna was born on March 20, 1940 in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland.

He immigrated to the United States at the age of eighteen where he completed five years of service with the US Air Force. After leaving the Air Force, he had a twenty-year career with the New York City Police department retiring as a Sergeant in 1983. While raising a family and working full time for the NYPD, he went to night school and received his Bachelor of Science from NY Institute of Technology. After relocating to NM, he retired from two other companies before fully retiring from work in 2007.

He was the youngest of twelve and was preceded in death by his parents, John and Deborah; his eleven siblings; and his grandson, Louis.  He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; his three children; his five grandchildren; and extended family.
