Frederick “Lynn” May died June 10, 2018 due to complications suffered from a fall. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Maureen “Mo” May; his brother, Jeffrey May; and extended family.
Lynn served his country through his service in the Vietnam War as well as holding many executive positions in Washington, D.C. under three presidents including Nixon, Ford and Reagan. He was also CEO of many health related organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. He was an avid skier, golfer, and cook. A world traveler, Lynn learned most of the languages of the countries he traveled to with his wife including French, German, Russian, Italian and he studied Chinese.
Lynn’s death brought a sudden end to a rewarding career and happy retirement. We will miss him.
Services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018, 10:30 a.m., at FRENCH – Wyoming with a reception to follow. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
