Frank P. Schoepfer, age 79, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 after a short battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Christopher (Carol) and Spencer; step-children, Jeffery W. Hamilton (Terri), Cheryl Scruton (Scott), and Scott A. Hamilton (Bootsady); grandchildren, Charlie and Daniel Brian of London, England, Chelsea and Alyssa Hamilton, Colby and Zack Hines, Jenna Jackson, Ashley Littleton (Tyler) and Tyler Jackson, numerous great-grandchildren; and brother, Ernest and his wife, Betty. Frank was born in Hell's Kitchen, New York City and attended Commerce High School. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Frank was a manager for the A&P. He lived in England for 30 years managing his own businesses, his last position being payroll master for London Transport. Frank was a member of Risen Savior Catholic Community, serving as an usher. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, October 23, 2013, 7:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. Friends may visit the family beginning at 6:30 p.m. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 24, 2013, 10:00 a.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Father Tom Noesen officiating. Frank will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Suite 300, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
