FRANK PARRA, age 86, of Los Angeles CA a resident of Albuquerque NM 50 plus years, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2012. Preceded in death by his mother Rosario Bejar, father Francisco Parra Sr., sister Lupe Reyes, & brother Manuel Carizozo. He was employed by Creamland Daries for 35 years as a machine operator until his retirement. He had a passion for gardening green chili and he would breed and raise rabbits. He enjoyed singing & dancing and love to socialize anywhere he went. He had many friends and he was always more than willing to lend a helping hand anytime day or night along with a "lecture." He loved cooking and the proper way to cook was his way. And no matter who came over or what time he always cooked them a meal before they left. Survived by his companion of 8 years Angela Chey Hong & son Fabian Chey Hong, children Manuel Parra, Nancy (David) Ramirez, Mark (Susan) Parra, Francine (Karen) Parra-DeHerrera, Lorena (Robert) Anaya: Also 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Per Frank's request there will be a visitation only on January 4, 2013 from 10am-1pm at French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd NE, Albuquerque NM. Cremation will follow visitation and final resting place will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
