Frank Richard Munos III - Born November 31, 1951 - Died August 25, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 3, 2020, 2:00 p.m. MST at FRENCH – Lomas. Webcast available due to COVID-19.

Frank Richard Munos III, passed away on August 25, 2020 at the age of 68. After several months of declining health, Rick died peacefully with his beloved sister Pamela and children.

Rick was born in Oklahoma City, on November 30, 1951 to Father Frank Munos and Mother Lillian Munos. He is survived by his three children, Richard Munos, Jesse Munos, and Jentry Munos-Squier (Wayland). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Mason, Oakley, and Molly. His sister Pamela Munos and her family, brother Jess Munos, wife Osa Munos, and family, Sister Patricia Powell, and her partner Annie. Lastly, his youngest brother James Powell, wife Natalie Powell, and family.

He was preceded in death by his fathers Frank and Bill, Mother Lillian, sister Lisa, Uncle’s Jess and Daniel Munos, Grandparents Frank and Amaila Munos.

Rick attended Yavapai community college and transferred to the University of Idaho where he majored in business. Rick was very athletic during his high school and college years. He played baseball, basketball, and football. Golf was always an interest but later became a life-long passion.

After college, Rick’s career began in the retail industry with Nabisco, were he worked for 20 plus years culminating as a senior Vice President. After retiring, Rick returned to Albuquerque, New Mexico to help with the family business Munos Paint and Body.

He was highly active in community events, sponsoring golf tournaments and Christmas gift drives for children. He was a big supporter of American Legion Post 49 where you could always find him watching sports, having a drink, and enjoying the camaraderie among friends.

Rick will be deeply missed by Family, Friends and Community.
