Frank Mirabal (Papa Monster, Pancho, Pops) passed away on March 7th, 2021 at the age of 87. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Adelina, sister Senaida, brothers Bernabel and Abran, and one grandchild, Stephen. He is survived by his seven children whom he loved greatly; Helen, Michael, Rudy (Liza), Fred, Roy (Carla), Pete, and Theresa (Scott) as well as his sister Felia. He had 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild on the way.
Frank was born in La Cienega, New Mexico near Manzano. He lived life with integrity, a strong work ethic and respect for others. He loved the outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing or growing up on the ranch. He loved sharing the life lessons he acquired as he enjoyed telling the stories or lessons learned from his past. He was a retired Ironworker, renown for his welding and his perfectionist ways (which also carried over to his everyday life). He was a devoted Catholic with a strong faith and belief in God. He never met a stranger as he was a friend to all and will be greatly missed.
A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 811 Guaymas Place NE, Albuquerque NM 87108. Mass of Christian Burial will be held immediately after, with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A celebration of Frank's life will be held at a later date.
