Frank Anthony Mezzancello, Jr.

Frank A. Mezzancello, Jr. passed away peacefully Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Mezzancello; daughter, Tina Stearns and family Charles and Jacob; his son, Steven Mezzancello and family Jaden and Nathan, Julie Maxwell and family Zack and Jonathan, and many friends.

Frank was an important part of the ballooning community in Albuquerque for over 40 years. He sat on the Balloon Fiesta Board of Directors for 32 years and was President of Balloon Fiesta in 1994. Frank was one-of-a-kind and a mentor to many.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022, 12:00 p.m., at FRENCH-Lomas. A reception will follow from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Balloon Fiesta Park, 9404 Balloon Fiesta Pkwy NE, in the Sid Cutter Building.
