Age 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1974, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. He is survived by his wife Ellen, daughter Karen M. Williams, her husband John, and grandchildren, Elisabeth, Katherine and James Williams all of Albuquerque; nephew Fred Schneider, nieces Nancy Schneider and Mary Chyun. Mr. McHugh was born and raised in New York City, N.Y. and was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Naval Air Service. After leaving the service he attended St. Louis University, receiving a B.S. Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, and traveled worldwide as an engineering representative for several aerospace companies. He was a member of Masonic Hiram Lodge No. 13, Scottish Rite of Santa Fe, Ballut Abyad Shrine, American Legion Post 49, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and the Albuquerque Soaring Club. Mr. McHugh was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Albuquerque. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2012, 1:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. Interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
