Frank “Louie” Madrid, age 81, passed away on July 10, 2017 and was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Louie was known for his lifelong love of singing and playing the guitar in bands, commitment to family, humor, love of classic cars, and cooking for everyone. He lived by John Wayne’s quote: “We’re burning daylight”. He reunites with his twin daughter, Carolyn Madrid, who preceded him in death in 2012. He is survived by his twin daughter, Evelyn Madrid Dulaney and her husband, Donald Dulaney; sons, Frank Madrid, Jr., Albert Madrid and his wife, Stephanie Maestas-Madrid, and Raymond Madrid; grandchildren, Dominic Madrid, Jordan Rodarte, Kathryn Jaramillo, Marisa Madrid, Matthew Madrid, R.J. Madrid and Nathaniel Madrid. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Sandoval and brothers, Chris Madrid, Julian Madrid, Robert Madrid and Rudy Madrid. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A small graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Gate of Heaven cemetery with a celebration of life reception to follow.
