Francisco "Frank" Alton, age 75, a devoted husband, loving father, doting grandfather, and genuine friend to many, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022. Frank was known for his ability to impart wisdom without lecture, succeed without airs, and love without boundaries. Frank valued time with his family, barbecues, and going to the movies. He was the most genuine man anyone could ever know.
He is survived by his wife, Olga Alton; his daughters, Audra DeBourge and husband Dean DeBourge, Heather Taylor and husband Blake Taylor; his five grandchildren, Christopher DeBourge, Marissa Taylor, Jenna DeBourge, Brennan Taylor, and Brady Taylor; and his great-grandchild, Miles DeBourge. He is also survived by his brothers, George Alton and Oscar Ozuna. He leaves many cherished aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also touching Frank's life were Connie Martinez, Joe and Viola Sauceda, Juan and Graciela Vasquez, Reynaldo and Josie Rodriguez, Jud and Cindy Teague, Bill Almaraz, and Gene Campos.
A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at 8:15 a.m. with A Funeral Service at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande, 5901 St. Josephs Dr NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.
Interment will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 9:45 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
