Francisco D. Gonzales, 78, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. He was surrounded by his loving family. Francisco is survived by his loving wife, Anita Gonzales of 58 years; his children, Anthony, Manuel and wife, Andrea, Christopher and wife, Carol, Francisco Jr. and wife, Jackie, Katherine, Frances Preciado and husband, Ernie and Olivia Prieto and husband, Peter; also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Francisco will be greatly missed by numerous siblings, relatives, friends and all that knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Paul Gonzales; and brothers and sisters. He was a devoted catholic; he loved watching his Los Angeles Dodgers play and spending time with his family. He served his country proudly in the US Navy. Family would like to express a special thank you to On Point Hospice medical care team for the great care provided and making him comfortable.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m., in the Desert View Chapel of FRENCH – Rio Rancho.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1001 Meteor Ave NE, Rio Rancho with inurnment to follow on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St. Santa Fe, New Mexico.
