Francisca E. Tapia Daughter, Sister and Aunt followed Jesus Christ to a room in God's house he prepared for her. She is free of earthly burdens and feeling the warm light and heavenly breeze upon her beautiful face and smiling down upon us.
Francisca was a resident of Avondale, AZ and passed away on Saturday, April 16th in Albuquerque, NM. She was an Executive Chef at the Maricopa County Hospital and later worked at the Wigwam Resort. She always went above and beyond in her job. She was known to everyone who met her as a loving, kind, and generous person. Her humor made you laugh and her down to earth personality made you always want to hang with her. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She loved cooking for a crowd, fishing and camping, playing recreational sports, watching musicals, playing games, and working on her house. Together, her mother Patricia and father Louie, sister Madonna and husband Julian, nephew Julian II, brother Luis, nephew Christopher and niece Isabella will miss her greatly.
She also leaves behind some special friends in her life. Dr. Leroy Ortiz, Aaron Abeyta, and Karen and Henry Aceves who were always there to listen and make her laugh. Thank you!
A Rosary will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 29, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd NE. in Albuquerque.
