Francis J. Tapie

Francis Tapie, 86, beloved Husband and Father, was called to his eternal resting place on November 16, 2018. He entered this world on January 20, 1932 in Los Angeles, CA, born to Francis and Dorothy Tapie. He was proceeded in death, this past March, by his daughter Sharon and is survived by his daughter, Deborah Gallagher; son, Jack Tapie; son, Kenneth Tapie ;Joan Tapie, wife of 65 years; son-in-law, Michael Gallagher; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grand children. Francis proudly served his country in the Air Force for 22 years. In November of 1973, Francis accepted a position at then Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory working for WX-3 repairing electronics. He would work at WX for 17 years till retiring in December 1990. In his life he loved many things, scouting, where he helped his two sons become eagle scouts, camping, hunting and fishing, his children, but most of all he loved his wife.
