Francis May Bradley, 97, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015. She was born May 25, 1917 in Oklahoma. Francis was a loving and dedicated great-grandmother, grandmother, mother, daughter, and sister. She was the last survivor of eleven children. Francis was an active, hard-working woman with a generous nature. She loved to entertain, and cooking was one of her strongest gifts. She was an avid and talented gardener and she enjoyed traveling, but her biggest affection was for her family, who she dearly loved. She was skilled in the art of Indian pottery restoration and was an active member of the Albuquerque Archaeological Society as well as Cherokees of New Mexico and the Haskell Club of New Mexico. Francis is survived by her children, Robert "Bob" Mathes, Omar C. Bradley (wife Doris), David L. Bradley (wife Jackie), Roselyn M. Ruona (husband William), Maggie Sarber (husband Frank) and Donald L. Bradley (wife Patricia); her grandchildren, Kelly Mathes (husband BJ Nigh), Amy Sanchez, Cody Bradley, Erica Enjady (husband Pascal), and her great-grandchildren, Nicole and Justin Sanchez, Hannah and Rowan Nigh, Christina, Christopher and Jared Bradley and Rose, Reid and Ruth Enjady. She also leaves many cherished nieces and nephews. Francis is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles "Jack" Bradley; her sons, Charlie and Paul Bradley; daughter-in-law, Sue T. Mathes; granddaughter, Tracy Mathes, and grandsons, David Mathes and John Sanchez. A Visitation will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Westside.
