It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Frances “Fran” Evelyn White, Albuquerque, NM, resident of 50 plus years. Born Thursday, May 6, 1943, and called home Friday, September 9, 2022, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's and Dementia.
Fran grew up in Springfield, IL, where she graduated from Sacred Heart Academy. Some years later she met and married Leslie Edward White (deceased) and moved to Albuquerque, NM., where early on she met lifelong friend Penny Pate. Fran had a great sense of humor and made many friends during her lifetime.
Fran raised four sons, Clay White (Amoya), Vince White, Brad White (Victoria), Les White (Mona); six grandchildren, Tiffany, Amanda, Hannah, Gauge, Chyenne, Hunter, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Fran is also survived by her sister, Peggy Bono (Bob), and Brother, James Newman.
Fran was a member of the Beta Sigma Pi Sorority, during the 70’s into the early 80’s, where she and her sorority sisters met Johnny Cash.
She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield after 29 years in 2008.
Fran is preceded in death by her mother, Frances Hubbard; her father, Donald O. Hubbard; her younger brother, Donald Joseph Hubbard; and her son Vincent Owen Michael White.

A Celebration of Fran’s Life will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 2:00pm, at FRENCH – Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
