Frances Machacek, age 101, a strong, loving, independent, and petite lady with a great sense of humor, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016. Fran's son, Rob and his wife Sally and kids will miss her dearly. Being a Grandma to Lindsay, Matthew and Whitney was Fran's most favorite role, as well as being 'adopted' Grandma to their cousins - Sarah, Rachel, Joel, Isaac, Jessica, Nicole and Kelli.
Her son, Will (killed while serving in Viet Nam) and husband, Irvin preceded Fran in death. Fran was fond of her dear friends, Carolyn, Sylvia and Rosemary. She appreciated the Atria Vista caregivers and the tremendous care she received there. Burial will take place in the family plot in Suring, WI. A celebration of her life will take place in August.
