Frances (Cordova) Gardner

Frances Gardner, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on the morning of July 30, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Robert E. Gardner.

She was born January 11, 1924 in Albuquerque, NM to Juan and Beatriz Cordova.  She grew up in Albuquerque but had the opportunity to see many parts of the country having been a military wife.  She loved to cook, spend time with her family and go for long rides.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Bea Hanson and partner, Daniel Stuart; son, Robert Gardner; and three grandchildren, Rick Hanson, Ariel Muckenhirn, Mindy Urias, and Eric Gardner; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at FRENCH - University.  The viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. and a reception immediately following. Burial will be at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM at 3:00 p.m.
