Floyd Smith

Age 79, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013. He is survived by his children, Sandra K. Jager of Montana, LaQuinta Maria Beaver and husband, Myron, Clemencia Faith Smith, Kenneth Wesley Smith, Narissa Jeane Smith, Ila Leandra Smith all of Oklahoma, Les E. Smith, step-children Lawrence Murray and Karen Jean Murray; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers Lloyd Smith and wife, Weda, Darrell Smith and wife, Lana and Allen Smith and wife, all of Oklahoma; sisters Louise Green, Mary Lou Smith, and Janie Tartsah. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Marie Smith. He served in the US Air Force. Floyd worked for many years at the BIA as a Tribal Judge and Police Officer. He also worked for the City of Albuquerque as Bus Driver and Sandia Casino as a Security Officer. A service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, 11:00 am at French - WYOMING, with Pastor Byron Sarracino, officiating. Interment will take place at Paraje Village Cemetery, Laguna Pueblo, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Ronald Sarracino, Jr., Robert Cupp, Isiah Whitmore, Louie Whitmore, John Beaver, Waylon Chavez, Delos Chavez, Derris Chavez, Robbie Tsotadle, and Santana Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Lawrence Murray, Randy Whitmore, Danny Lorenzo, Bernie Trujillo, Kenneth Smith, Lloyd Smith, Allen Smith, and Darrell Smith. Friends may visit on Monday, May 20, 2013 at French - WYOMING from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
