Floyd Michael Sahd, age 80, a native New Mexican, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Sahd (Mesen) of 54 years; children, Gregory Sahd and his wife, Rosemary, and Mike Sahd and his wife, Karen; grandchildren, Jasmine, Justice, Carson, Leo and Emily Sahd; and his brother, Gabriel Sahd and wife, Doris. He was preceded in death by his father, Fitty Sahd; mother, Clara Sahd (Merhege); and brothers, Elias (Leo), Joseph and Jay Sahd.
Floyd Michael Sahd served honorably in the New Mexico Air National Guard for 38 years and achieved the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He also proudly served in Federal Government Service. On retirement he stayed in Albuquerque, travelled, enjoyed and loved his family and served his church and community.
Public Viewing will be Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. The Rosary will be recited Monday, October 29, 2017, 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas and Tennessee. Mass will be celebrated immediately following the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
