Floyd A. Smith

Floyd A. Smith, 80, died November 30, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Smith; his daughter, Lynette Hayes and husband, Kevin; his sister, Darlene Kopcial; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph A. and Sadie Smith; his brother, Ralph H. Smith and wife, Eleanor; his sister, Patricia Smith and niece, Melissa Smith. Floyd worked for 48 years as a mechanic for McCauley and University Volkswagen. He served in the United States Army in Germany. He owned two service stations as well as a Mr. Swiss Ice Cream Shop in Albuquerque. A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday December 4, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas . Friends may visit Thursday, December 3, 2015, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
