Flossie Ann (Wentworth) Roerick

Flossie Ann (Wentworth) Roerick, age 81, resident of Albuquerque, NM went home to be with her heavenly Father on Friday, January 18, 2019.

Flossie Ann, the daughter of the late Royal and Myrtle Wentworth, was born and grew up in Cresco, IA where she attended Catholic elementary and Notre Dame High School. She went to college in Minneapolis, MN where she met and married Andrew Roerick on August 9, 1958. Shortly thereafter they moved to Rochester, MN where they set up home and began their family of five children.

In the mid 1960’s they moved to Arizona, residing in both Mesa and Phoenix, and Flossie Ann began her career in office Management with the Chamber of Commerce. In 1975 they moved the family to Albuquerque, NM to start their Financial Investment Company, Andy Roerick and Associates.

A devoted and loving mother, wife and friend to all whose lives she touched will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Flossie Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Andy. She is survived by her five children; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  They include daughter, Patsy (Roerick) Beck and husband Tim, their children Maralyn Beck, Matt and wife Jenn Beck, Andrew and wife Melody Beck, Erin and husband Peter Van Diepen; son, Mark and wife Rosie Roerick and children Alex Roerick and fiancé Anna Kuuttila, Christine Roerick; daughter, Karen (Roerick) Troske and her daughters, Andrea and Emily Troske; daughter, Julie Roerick and her daughter Jillian Clark and wife Jillian Sabatini; and daughter, Colleen Roerick and son Daniel Roerick.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019, 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
