Florence Jackson

Florence "Flo" Jackson, 89, resident of Rio Rancho since 2009, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 6, 2015. She was born in Danbury, CT and moved to Virginia Beach, VA in 1968 until she moved to Rio Rancho with her daughter and son-in-law. She retired from Raytheon Service Company in 1989. In her free time she enjoyed bowling. Her favorite time was always spent with her family. Flo was a devoted member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jackson. She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Hitch and husband, Harold; step-daughter, June Brambel; 3 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Hitch; many nieces, nephews extended family members and friends. Friends may visit FRENCH-Rio Rancho from 6:00 - 8:00p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 Rosary will be recited at 10:00 with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at ST. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho 87124. Burial will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
