Florence Anne Hagen

Florence Anne Hagen, born May 28, 1924, slipped peacefully away on November 8, 2015. Florence's life was her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Florence Goeltz, and her beloved husband, Robert (Bob) Hagen. Florence is survived by her sister, Janet Robinson and husband, Richard, and their four children and numerous grandchildren. Florence is survived by her three children, Judie Youngman and husband, Kevin; Susan Cronin and husband, Gary; and Mike Hagen and wife, Pattie. She is survived by her eight grandchildren, Michael Youngman and wife, Shannon; Anne Claspell and husband, Robert; Sara Kindley and husband, Seth; Laura Endris and partner, Russell Bustamante; Jacquelyn Cronin; Rebecca Cronin; Colleen Ibscher and husband, Eric; and Bridget Bell and husband, Dan. Florence is survived by her thirteen great-grandchildren, Constance Stella and Maximus Daniel Youngman; William, Timothy, Connor, and Mary Elizabeth Claspell; Hunter Kindley; Leianna, Lexy, and Lacy Endris; Weston Ibscher; and Isaac and Xavier Bell.
Florence was a born teacher. She taught her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren songs and read them stories. She loved to cook with them and tend her beautiful garden. They brought her great happiness in her final years. She was always ready for fun with the family. The regular gatherings were especially comforting to her. Her death leaves a void in the hearts of her family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation Church, 2532 Vermont NE. Ennichment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask for donations to be made to the Alzheimer Association, www.alz.org, in Florence's name.
