Age 80, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, December 15, 2012. He is survived by his children Julianita, Beverly and husband Hector Tovar, grandchildren; Chastity and husband Jacob Brown, David Rokisky II, Isabella and Abigail Tovar, two great-grandchildren; Braylon and Jace Brown. He also leaves behind a sister; Elsie Gonzales, brothers; Lurie and wife Priscilla, Luis and wife Annabelle, Tony and wife Kathie, Cris and Stella of Belen, NM as well as many other loving family members and friends. Fidelino was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Frances, his sister Nestora of Texas, brother Milo, father, Hipolito and mother, Sirilia also of Belen. Fidelino was a member of Our Lady of The Assumption Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He retired after 35 years at Sandia National Laboratories. Fidelino served his country for over 20 years in the US Army Reserve. He traveled to Italy and throughout the US, including Hawaii. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and NY Yankees. In his retirement, he kept busy with stained glass projects, tile painting, pottery and punched tin-work. He also enjoyed visiting with his grandchildren and attending Manzano Mesa Senior Center. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 811 Guaymas Pl NE, Albuquerque, with Father Michael Cimino, Celebrant. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit prior to the Rosary from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
