Fentress "Ann" Kerns

Fentress "Ann" Kerns, age 82, mother and retired Albuquerque businesswoman, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 30th 2024. Ann was known for her wit, her entrepreneurship, her style, and her keen eye for interior design. Ann had many interests that captivated her attention - art, literature, history, music, and cooking among them. Ann was born in Columbus, GA and eventually made her way west to New Mexico. Ann opened her own furniture store called Rooms in northeast Albuquerque. Ann spent her days in retirement reading, watching documentaries, and learning new cooking techniques. Ann is survived by her children Jamie Wiedeman and Scott Kerns; and her grandchildren Emma Kerns and Hailey Kerns. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 9th, at 2pm at FRENCH - Westside chapel.
