Felix Ross Lopez was a native New Mexican and is survived by his loving wife, Eileen "Suzy" Lopez; daughters, Rossann Barnes and Feliciann Lopez; step-children, Tracy and Michael Barela, Michael and Elizabeth Mclntyre; brother, Eddie Lopez and wife Orly Lopez; brother, Steve Lopez and wife Kathy Lopez; brother, George Lopez and wife Marilyn Lopez. Felix had three grandsons, Fabian Gurule, Tyler Barnes, and Tanner Barnes; seven nephews and nieces; and six great-nephews and nieces. Felix is preceded in death by his loving parents, Serafin and Sofia Lopez. He had many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Felix served in the Army Reserve and was honorably discharged on May 31,1973. He was also a member of Post 49 in Albuquerque, NM. Felix was a gun collector and loved to go to the shooting-range. He had a great sense of humor and a passion for American muscle cars, especially Chevelle super sport and corvettes. He was always quick with a comeback and loved watching “Gunsmoke” and “Judge Judy”. Whenever he got a chance to get away, his favorite place to visit was Laughlin, Nevada. He loved to play the machines. Looking at the river always gave him much joy. Felix will be greatly missed.
Friends may visit Wednesday, May 15, 2019, 12:00 p.m., at FRENCH – Lomas. A Funeral Service will immediately follow, at 1:00 p.m.
