Faye Wells

Wells, Faye Laverne Faye Laverne Wells, age 90, a longtime resident of Bosque Farms, NM entered into eternal peace on Monday, June 22, 2015. Faye was born on December 19, 1924 in Ft. Worth, TX. She married George A Walker on December 7, 1942. From this union Faye was blessed with two sons, George Austin Walker, Jr. and Jimmy Ray Walker. Faye was widowed on December 15, 1963. As fate would have it, a man came along and swept her off her feet, his name was Dick Wells. They were married on May 17, 1964. They loved to go fishing, be with friends at local pubs or Belen Elks Lodge. Then on September 12, 1991 Faye was left to take the rest of her journey in life alone with only her loving friends and family to keep her company. Faye retired from working with APS and continued to enjoy activities at the Elks Lodge. In 2001 she became an active member with Belen 1648 Women of the Moose Chapter. She held various appointed positions. She loved to dance, remember the good ole days, listen to music and do word search puzzles. Faye is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; and other family members. She leaves behind a legacy of two grandchildren, Austin Lee Walker of Rio Rancho and Laura Bradshaw of Edgewood; and seven great-grandchildren. She had four friends that took care of her needs during her elderly years, Manuel and Brenda Baca, Patricia Gilliam and the late Roy Gilliam. Services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015, 10:30 a.m., at FRENCH - University. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Terrace Grove Cemetery in Belen, NM.
