Faye Roma Templeton

Faye Roma Templeton, age 92, passed away on December 9, 2015 after suffering from Alzheimer's for 12 years. Faye was born in Baum, OK on July 7, 1923.
She moved to New Mexico in 1952 where she met her husband, Thomas R. Templeton who she was married to for 62 years. Thomas preceded her in death in 2005. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters and six brothers.
Faye is survived by her three daughters, Shelley B. Roupas of Albuquerque, NM, Carol Templeton of Palm Desert, CA, and Deborah Stempin of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Faye worked for many years as a medical secretary transcriptionist at Van Ata Laboratory and for numerous physicians in Albuquerque.
Our family is thankful for all the love and respect she received from Casa de Carino assisted home the past four years and all the many people from Ambercare Hospice that kept her comfortable for her last eight years.
Her memorial service will be Tuesday, June 28, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at Rio Grande Presbyterian Church, 600 Coors Blvd., NW with a reception following. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rio Grande Presbyterian Church. Her body will be interred at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, 2:15 p.m.
