Estefanita Maria Rodriquez (Fannie Farmer, Fannie Rodriquez), age 88, was born on February 2, 1935, in Espanola, NM. She lived in Rio Rancho for the last 20+ years. She passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 after a long battle with dementia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Rodriquez; parents, Antonio and Feles Rodriquez; sister, Helen Rodriquez; brothers, Joe and Tony Rodriquez; nephew, Harold Rodriquez; and great-granddaughter, Malakai Leyva who awaits in heaven.

She is survived by her children, Jim Farmer (Linda), Lynn Farmer (Bob), Ken Farmer (Cindy), Carlos Rodriquez (Nitza), Jacqueline Rodriquez, and Christina Rodriquez- Engel (Jason); grandchildren, Annie Campbell (Ryan), MaryLynn Farmer, Samantha Verdeja (Alfonso), Leticia Leyva (Christian), Chelsea Engel, Rico Leyva (Erica), Miguel Rodriquez (Maddison), and Galeano Rodriquez; great-grandchildren, Amaya and Rylan Campbell, Madeleine and AJ Verdeja, and Raziel Leyva; sister, Rachel Fresquez (Louie); and sister-in-law, Rosita Rodriquez and many cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Fannie is going to be missed by many. She was a beautiful person who loved her family and friends dearly and was loved by many.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to staff and caregivers at The Retreat Alzheimer's Specialty Care in Rio Rancho, Mary Lovato for praying a final rosary with Fannie and Nanette Martinez for her love and support of family in her final hours.

A Rosary will be held Thursday, August 31, 202,3 at 10:15 a.m., at Santa Cruz de la Canada with a funeral mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Fannie will be buried at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with her beloved husband Charlie Rodriquez.
