Evelyn Thompson

THOMPSON, EVELYN KARNSAge 91, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Lou Huse and husband, Ken of Albuquerque, NM, Betty Gail Radar and husband, Jay of Albuquerque, NM, and Lynda Fjeseth and husband, Wayne of Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Evelyn was preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, George V. Thompson. Evelyn was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church and active in the Women's Society. She retired from the Planning Department for the City of Albuquerque in 1986. Evelyn was an avid bowler, bird-watcher, and gardener. Graveside services will take place on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
