Evelyn L. Orosco

Evelyn L. Orosco, 94 of Albuquerque, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at her home. She was born on April 9, 1920 in Ocate, NM to Jose Demetrio and Sara (Martinez) LeFebre - a descendant of French Canadian families. She was raised in Wagon Mound, NM and graduated from Wagon Mound High School and came to Albuquerque in the mid-1940s where she raised her four children. Evelyn retired from Siemens Corporation in 1988. After her retirement she traveled extensively including visits to Europe, Canada and Mexico. One of her most significant travels was to the tomb of her patron Saint, Saint Anthony of Padua in Italy. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for her children, grandchildren and their families. She will always be remembered for her keen and sharp sense of humor and always wanted to look her best wherever she went and whatever she did. She is survived by her children, Josephine Torres, Larry Saine and wife Loretta, Debra Saine, John Saine and wife JoAnn; sister, Sophie LeFebre; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Felix and Benigna LeFebre; infant daughter, Priscila Saine; and six siblings, Alice Pacheco, Esther Sandoval, Antonia Davalos, Frank, Margarito and Benjamin LeFebre. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Mt.
