Evelyn Anne Hewes

Evelyn Anne Hewes, age 69, was a faithful friend, caring mother, sister and daughter, and a devoted grandmother and aunt. Anne passed away Sunday, March 7th, 2021 surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her son, Justin Young; and her grandchildren, Jayden, Jax and Jett. She is also survived by her father, Robert Hewes; sisters, Carole Hewes, and Barb Lisk; nephews, Cody Smith, and Bobby Lisk; niece, Jesse Lisk.

Anne was a supportive “sports mom”.  She never would miss even one of Justin’s baseball, basketball, or football games.  Anne retired from the Public Defender’s office in 2016. She was an avid gardener and home maker.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn B. Hewes.

The family would like to thank Presbyterian Home nurse Lyndzy and Hospice for their guidance and care.

A private family graveside service was held on March 16, 2021.
