Evelyn Harman

Evelyn Harman, also known as Evelyn Coleman, 93, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, December 8, 2012. She is survived by her loving husband, Virgil Harman; daughter, Kathy Vanderpool and husband, Chuck; daughter, Carolyn Turner and husband, Rodger of Tallahassee, FL; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Fruits, and father, Marvin Mounts. Evelyn was a member of AAUW for many years. She was an honor student, and one of the few women that graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Business Administration. Evelyn was a medical secretary in an Army hospital during World War II. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Interment will take place at Resthaven Garden Cemetery in Oklahoma City at a later date.
