Evelyn Barbara (Healy) Gray

Evelyn Barbara Gray nee Healy was born in New York City on April 9, 1937.  She died on February 19, 2018.  Mother, wife, author, artist, she once said, “My heart has never been broken, I married the first person I ever fell in love with”, until her heart was broken on August 23, 2013, when her beloved James, husband of 56 years, predeceased her.  The sweethearts are together again.  She is survived by her sons, James, John and Brian; daughter-in-law, Kim; beloved grandchildren, Bresdin, Megan, Mary, Dylan, William, Erin and Zen.  Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018, 11:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5911 Phoenix Ave. NE.
