Evangeline Dora (Rivera) Kosinski

Evangeline Kosinski, 92, beloved grandmother, spouse, daughter, mother, sister and aunt, was called to her eternal resting place on Monday, February 13, 2023. She entered this world on Thursday, December 4, 1930 in Las Vegas, NM, born to Pete and Isabelle Rivera. she is survived by her granddaughters, Erica Whitaker and Amber Whitaker; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Chavez and Aubreigh Thomas; brother-in-law, Howard Ahlness; sister-in-law, Agnes Rivera; nephews, Mike Ahlness and Jim McAlary and wife Lois; niece, Geri Tsakalos and husband Ted; nephew, Phil Janzer and wife Debbie; niece, Patti Schisel and husband Russ; nephew, Steven Janzer, family friend, Larry Predika. She is also survived by Robert Whitaker, wife Elayne, and daughter Mariah. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Frank Kosinski; daughter, Sandra Hernandez; son, Tony Kosinski; brothers, Pedro Rivera and Clarence Rivera; sisters, Pedie Janzer and Ann Ahlness. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

A Visitation will be held Friday, March 3, 2023, at 12:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service following at 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH- Wyoming. A Graveside Service for Evangeline will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. that afternoon.
