Evangeline C. (Herrera) Aragon

Evangeline C. Aragon (Herrera), age 85, loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019. Mom lived a full, beautiful, and adventurous life. She touched many souls and crafted loving memories. Evangeline had many friends and is survived by her five children, Cathy Snyder (Russell), Elaine Grillos (Bill), Gerri Harrison (Jerry), J.R. Marquez (Joyce), and Roberta Roybal (Paul); five grandchildren, Jimmy Silva, Jacqueline Marquez, Vincent Marquez, Paul Thomas Roybal, and Valerie Roybal; two great-grandchildren, Santiago Silva and Alejandro Silva; and sister, Lourdes Sanchez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Aragon; son, Tommy B. Aragon; twin sister, Evelyn Esther Vigil; and sisters, Josephine LaRock, Vivian Herrera. Evangeline is at peace with Tom and Tommy. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., at FRENCH – University. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 1, at 10:00 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102, with ennichement to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
