Eva M. McLachlan

Eva M. McLachlan entered eternal life on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the age of 96. She joined in peace with her husband of 69 years, John T. McLachlan. Eva is survived by her three children, Patricia Francis, Barbara Davis, and Michael McLachlan. She will be greatly missed by her nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Born in Summerfield NC, Eva moved to Denver CO at an early age and completed her education at North Denver HS.  An accomplished dancer, she performed in Colorado and Wyoming and as a young mother taught dance in her home studio. Eva’s working career started in dance at age 14 and ended in retail sales at age 83.  Her many talents, work ethic and determination brought her success with many employers. As an award winning sales woman and retail manager, she particularly enjoyed her work in the candy business. Devoted to her family Eva left a legacy of love, faith, hard work and creativity.

Friends may visit Wednesday, June 13, 2018, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Wyoming.  Rosary will be recited Thursday, June 14, 2018, 8:00 a.m., and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 8:30 a.m., both at Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish, 2621 Vermont NE.  Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:15 a.m.
