Eunice DeLeGal McDaniel, 92, of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of Florence SC, passed away Friday, December, 11, 2015.
Eunice was born in Savannah, Georgia, the daughter of the late Edward Wentworth DeLeGal and Eunice Tomlinson DeLeGal.
She was a graduate of Putnam High School in Palatka, Florida and of Draughn's Business College, Savannah, Georgia. She worked for several years at Union Bag & Paper Corporation in Savannah, where she met her late husband, Olin K. McDaniel Jr., and they were married in 1948.
They later moved to several locations around the country and ended up in Florence, South Carolina, where she was a long time member of All Saints Episcopal Church.
She will be remembered for her kind heart and love of animals.
Eunice was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Olin K McDaniel Jr. Survivors include, a son, Olin K. McDaniel, III, of Modesto, CA, a daughter, Mary (David) McDaniel White, and granddaughter, Mary Kimberly White of Albuquerque, NM.
Following cremation, her remains will be interred next to those of her husband, in the St Helena Episcopal Church cemetery at Beaufort, SC.
