Euna Rawls

Age 90, was born April 17, 1922 to Cloid and Florence Braught. The family came to Albuquerque in 1930. Euna passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012. Euna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jay B. Rawls. Euna is survived by her daughter Patti Rawls, son Jay B. (Huck) Rawls Jr., daughter-in- law, Donna Rawls, granddaughters; Leish Weger and her partner Andee Henderson, Amy Lorimer and husband, Joshua, grandson; Justin Rawls and wife Jamie, great-grandchildren; Kayleigh Rawls, McKenzie Rawls, Noah Lorimer, Aden Lorimer and Jonah Lorimer; sister-in-law, Opal Braught and many nieces and nephews. Euna was a beloved wife and loving mother and grandmother who never met a stranger! She was a member of Del Norte Baptist Church and loved her church years along with bowling and traveling. In her earlier years, Euna was a volunteer at Presbyterian Hospital. The family wishes to thank Mariah House Assisted Living, and their many caregivers, for giving Euna such dedicated care for the past years. We also wish to thank Presbyterian Hospice and Dr. Russell Schultz for their support and care. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
