Eugene "Gene" B. Shiplet

Eugene B. "Gene" Shiplet, 77, went to be with the Lord December 15, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his sons, Russell Shiplet and wife, Aimmee, Michael Shiplet and wife, Kathy, his daughters, Jill and Pam Russell; 17 grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brice and Callie Shiplet. Gene committed his life to serving the Lord in so many ways, as a chaplain, couselor, friend and family member. He is greatly loved and will be dearly missed. Services will be Monday, December 21, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3100 Morris NE. Burial follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
