Eugene "Geno" Conahan

Eugene "Geno" Robert Conahan, Albuquerque resident and longtime Taoseño, died peacefully early on the morning of December 26th, 2024 in the presence of family at UNM Hospital following complications from recent medical procedures, having lived 90 storied years.

Geno is survived by his beloved wife Stephanie Conahan, his children and their spouses Cormac & Carol Conahan, Mark & Carolyn Conahan, Craig Conahan & Joan McGuire, Rachel & Rick Tobin, and Jared Conahan, as well as his nine grandchildren and their spouses and partners.

A bright and forceful personality, Geno endeared himself to everyone he met. His loss is felt by all those privileged to know him, whether briefly or across decades, and he is sorely missed by his family and friends.

Family will be making arrangements for a memorial service in the spring.
