Eugene Dirnberger, 87, was called to his resting place on March 19, 2016. He entered this world on March 25, 1928 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota, born to Joseph and Bernadine Dirnberger. He came from a family of 10 children. Gene spent his career with Sandia Labs. Gene was always happy, and made friends anywhere he was. He loved hunting and fishing and you could always count on a hunting story from Gene. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Barbara; their son, Richard and his wife, Lisa; and grandsons, Jesse and Michael. A Rosary service will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, 7:00 p.m .at FRENCH - Lomas. Mass to be celebrated Wednesday, March 30, 2016, 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Road NE. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
