Esther Silva-Kozak

SILVA-KOZAK, ESTHER Age 60, a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1997, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born in Bakersfield, CA in 1953 to Lorenzo and Connie Silva. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Kozak of Albuquerque, NM; four children: one, son Luis Chacon and spouse, Staci, one daughter, Natalie Chacon and husband, Aaron, one step-daughter, Deana Lopez and husband, Kenneth and one step-son, Joseph Kozak, Jr., and wife, Elizabeth; and three grandchildren, Joaquin, Sage and Sol. Esther is preceded in death by her father; and one grandson, Zachary. During her years of service to the community, working as a Social Worker, she received her Bachelor's Degree from Arizona State University. Esther was a member of the Order of Malta, and member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Esther was a loving and devoted, wife, mother, and nana. She is greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial Rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, 10:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE in Rio Rancho.
