A resident of Albuquerque since 1946, passed away at her home January 18, 2013. She is survived by her children Sam Sandoval, Jr. of Albuquerque, Richard Sandoval (Esther) of Albuquerque, Ron Sandoval of West Lafayette, OH, and Bennie Sandoval (Edie) of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her grandchildren James Sandoval (Aimee) of Albuquerque, Thomas Sandoval of Castlerock, CO, David Sandoval (Kipling) of Commerce City, CO, Sarah Gallegos (Michael) of Albuquerque, Amy Sandoval of Albuquerque, and Olivia Izzolo (Justin) of Albuquerque, Lucas Sandoval (Lori) of Dover/New Philadelphia, OH, Alana Bennington (Larry) of Dover/New Philadelphia, OH, Selina Rimbert (Michael) of Albuquerque, and Anita Sandoval and her fiancé Chris Lopez of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Bailey Emma Sandoval of Commerce City, Co, Isabella Reina and Izaiah Izzolo of Albuquerque, Mikey and Sophia Reina Sandoval of Albuquerque, Russell Jeremiah Werner of Albuquerque, Analee Sandoval and Trinity Bennington of Dover/New Philadelphia, OH, and Noah Lopez of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her brother David Sanchez (Ann); and her sister Corrine Gallegos (Frank) of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband Sambronio P. Sandoval on February 28, 2007, and by Nona Castillo of Belen, Erlinda Sanchez of Belen, Lillie Sanchez Carrasco of Albuquerque, Tillie Fresquez of Albuquerque, Claude Sanchez of Albuquerque and Ruben Sanchez of Albuquerque. She worked for Drs. Lovelace, the Santa Fe Railroad, in the civil service and for the FAA. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption. Friend may visit French - Lomas location on Wednesday, January 23, 2012 at 5:00 p.m., and a rosary will follow at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, January 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church with Father Michael Cimino, Celebrant. Head Pallbearers will be Andy Palmer and Bennie Sandoval, and pallbearers will be Sarah Gallegos, Amy Sandoval, Alana Bennington, Olivia Izzolo, Selina Rimbert and Anita Sandoval. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
