Esther E.O. Martinez

Age 79, born in Colonias, New Mexico on May 13, 1934 to parents, Raymond Martinez and Cipriana Garcia. She has been a resident of Albuquerque since 1951, and recently passed on August 18, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Martinez in 1988. She is survived by two sons, Anthony Martinez, his wife, Alethea Martinez and Michael Conrad Martinez; grandchildren, Anthony John Martinez Junior, Teresa Isgriggs, Ashley Martinez, Michael Christian Martinez, Santana Torrez, and Michael Cramberg. She also has six great grandchildren. Esther enjoyed a long career and retired from Sandia National Laboratories in 1997. She has five surviving siblings, Flora Sandoval, Gilbert Martinez, Gloria Ortiz, Pauline Perry and Margaret King. Friends are invited to attend Funeral Services Friday, August 23, 2013 with a viewing at 1:00 p.m. and the ceremony at 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
