Esther Lopez went to be with our Lord on January 15, 2016, after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Trinnie Padilla; her brothers, Joe, Lawrence, Robert, Johnny, Michael, and her sister, Annabel.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Lopez; her sons, John Gene, Raymond, Adam (Mara) and Mario; her grandchildren, Leah, Rachel Matthew, Alanna, Saphire, Amadeo, Andres, Noah, Avianna; and her four great-grandchildren.
Esther came from a large family of eighteen brothers and sisters. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church where she was a very dedicated Eucharistic Minister and a Lector. She loved to pray her rosary every day.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2016, 9:00 a.m. followed by a Rosary at 10:00 a.m. with Mass celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, 820 Broadway SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. There will be a reception at the church hall after Mass.
