Esther Anastasia Auld

Esther Anastasia Auld, 96, of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016. She is survived by her sons, Gus Capels and Richard Auld and wife Karen; step-son, Eddie Auld and wife Linda; daughters-in-law, Linda Auld and Dorothy Auld; brother, John Argeanas; grandchildren, Kyrenn Auld, Mike Auld, Mark Auld, Aaron Auld, Heath Auld and Kenny Auld; great-grandson, Tavin Leonard; as well as other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Auld; step-son, David Auld; grandson, Tanner Auld; her siblings, Gus Argeanas, Jim Argeanas, George Argeanas, Andy Argeansas, Mike Argeanas and Edna Niforos.
Esther retired from Safeway after 35 years of service and continued working for family until age 88. She loved crocheting and made hundreds of blankets for family and friends.
A Trisagion will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming, visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High St. SE. Interment will take place at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery. Her family would like to extend a special thanks to Minnie, Maria and Diane, her loving caretakers.
