Ernest Patton "Pat" Bundrant, aged 81, peacefully passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Pat was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on September 28, 1942 to Vivian and George Bundrant. He served in the New Mexico Army National Guard for six years and was an Albuquerque businessman for 60 years. Pat found joy in hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. His favorite fishing spot was the Rio Chama in northern New Mexico. Pat hunted big game throughout the southwestern US, as well as in Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Argentina.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nita; his daughter, Brenna Aschbacher and her husband, Kenny; his son, Bryan Bundrant and his wife, Heather; and his five grandchildren, Zane Aschbacher, Kaleb Aschbacher, Murphy Aschbacher, Garret Bundrant, and Conner Bundrant. He also leaves behind cherished nieces, nephews, an uncle, aunt, and cousins. Pat was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and beloved aunt and uncle. A private family service will be held at a later date.
