Eric Larson, 66, died on Sunday, July 2, 2017.
Born in St. Louis on July 30, 1950 to Eileen Qualley and Paul Larson, he came to Albuquerque from Minnesota to join his father in operating Paul's Monterey Inn restaurant. After his father's death, he owned and managed the restaurant until its closing in 2015. In addition to his love for his family and tireless dedication to the restaurant and its staff and patrons, he loved running, horse racing, sports and music. He is survived by his son, Chris Larson and wife, Beth, and their children, Micah and Zoe; daughter, Megan Larson; sister, Carol Phillips, and husband, Richard; brother, Matt Larson, and wife, Christy; and sisters, April and Rebecca Ames.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Four Corners Equine Rescue, 22 Rd 3334, Aztec, NM 87410.
