Eric Patrick Joe Guidarelli

Eric Patrick Joe Guidarelli was born to Diana Barron in Clovis, NM on Monday, June 3, 1996. At the age of two, she courageously blessed us with a new family member, and Eric came to live with Greg, Loretta and Nicole Guidarelli in Albuquerque, NM. His adoption was finalized on Thursday, February 11, 1999. He instantly brought so much joy to our growing family.
Nicole Guidarelli, age five, was so excited to have a little brother! She loved playing with Eric and translated her little brothers "speaking" to their parents. His favorite things were Legos, and the words "ball" and "no," heavy on the "no!" Eric also quickly fit in with his new cousins: Anthony, Glen, Austin, and Kathryn. They played together frequently, and he was very much loved by his aunts and uncles.
Eric started baseball and basketball early in life. He was skilled in baseball, starting with T-ball. Over the years he played Little League baseball. In the Majors, his team won the district championship and took second in state. He went on to play with the Eldorado Eagles in his freshman year. From there, he played with a club team. As a freshman he took up wrestling. It was physically good for him and for his baseball.
Eric graduated high school in 2015. From there he took a few classes at CNM. He decided to take on the challenge to earn a certification as a pharmacy technician. After much studying and 150 hours of unpaid externship, he easily passed his pharmacy technician certification! He initially worked at Albertson's Market Pharmacy. From there he worked at Presbyterian Hospital Downtown. In the last six months of his life, Eric went back to work at Albertson's Market Pharmacy and Walgreens at the same time.
In October of 2018, Eric started dating Cheyenne. After several years of dating, Eric and Cheyenne moved in together and adopted a puppy named Layla. They got engaged New Years Eve of 2021. Cheyenne brought Eric so much happiness and love, and greatly improved the quality of his life. They remained close until his untimely passing. She was truly a blessing to him.
Eric was called home to the Lord on April 30, 2023. He was surrounded by his parents, Greg and Loretta Guidarelli, his sister, Nicole, and Cheyenne, her sister and mother. Eric will be greatly missed by his family and friends, including his birth family.
